The newly built rope centre is located in the forest bordering the main E77 road from Banská Bystrica and Ružomberok and with a length of more than 500m and various courses is the longest and largest rope centre in the whole of Slovakia.

Entrance to the rope centre is from the platform built next to the climbing wall. After entering the centre it is your task to get over the various obstacles which are securely built at heights of roughly 2m above the ground. The courses are colour-coded according to their level of difficulty. During the entire length of your traverse through the rope centre you are safely fixed with a safety rope and your safety is also closely followed by our specially trained personnel.
We haven’t forgotten about the small “climbers” among you for whom there is a free of charge rope centre also close to the climbing wall.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USERS OF THE IN-HEIGHT OBSTACLES IN THE ROPE CENTRE


1. Before entering the in-height obstacles in the rope centre you are obliged to:
  • get familiar with the Operating Instructions
  • use the equipment properly; the equipment consists of a harness, lowering anchor and two carabiners
  • pay maximum attention to the entrepreneur's instructions and follow his or her directions
  • train the usage of the equipment
2. After entering the in-height obstacles in the rope centre you are obliged to:
  • belay yourself by clipping two carabiners to the wire rope
  • in the case of changing the obstacle, switch only one carabiner to other rope and only after that switch the other one. At any time, you must be safeguarded by at least one carabiner unless you are in the area adjusted to the movement without a safeguard
  • pay maximum attention to the entrepreneur's instructions and follow his or her directions
  • obey instructions, bans and directions of the entrepreneur
3. After entering the in-height obstacles in the rope centre, it is forbidden to:
  • move or stay without a safeguard
  • do activities that are not related to the purpose of the rope centre such as to smoke, make phone calls etc.
  • use the lowering anchor at spots which are not intended for the purpose of lowering
  • wind a rope or any part of it around your fingers, hands or any other part of your body
  • carry such personal belongings or any other things that could cause any harm to you, any other participant or the entrepreneur of the rope centre
  • enter an obstacle when there is another person
  • for two people to enter a platform
  • only 1 person allowed at any time on any obstacle in the rope centre
4. General provisions:
  • It is forbidden to enter the rope centre under the influence of alcohol or other drugs, pregnant women, persons with heart problems or other persons whose state of health could be at risk by using the rope centre
  • It is forbidden to enter the area below the in-height obstacles to everybody except the members of the crew
  • It is forbidden to use your own equipment
  • The entrepreneur is not responsible for any material damage, injury or any other detriment caused by a violation of the Operating Instructions
